The vinyl you choose for your jetski sticker kit makes or breaks the final result. At S3R Designs, we've tested dozens of vinyl products in marine conditions and can tell you with confidence: not all vinyl is created equal.
Cast vs Calendered Vinyl
The most important distinction in sticker kit vinyl is between cast and calendered production methods.
Cast Vinyl ✓
- • Thin, flexible, conforms to curves
- • No memory — won't spring back
- • 3–5 year marine lifespan
- • Clean removability
- → What we use at S3R
Calendered Vinyl ✗
- • Thick, stiff, struggles on curves
- • Built-in memory — lifts at edges
- • Shrinks over time
- • Fails in 6–12 months
- → Never used by S3R
What to Look For in Jetski Vinyl
Premium Cast Print Film
Thin, highly conformable film that stretches into hull curves and recesses without lifting. Vivid, long-life print colour and a stable adhesive.
Air-Release Adhesive
Micro-channel adhesive lets trapped air escape and allows repositioning during fitting — far more forgiving on big panels.
Thick Gloss Laminate
A heavy protective overlaminate is what beats UV fade, scuffs, fuel and salt water. Skip it and the print will not last a season.

Laminates and Overcoats
Every printed sticker kit needs a protective laminate overlay — providing UV protection, scratch resistance, and chemical resistance against fuel, oil, and salt water. We use matched print film and laminate systems designed to work together, so the two layers expand, flex and age at the same rate.
Special Finish Films

Colour-shifting, prismatic effect
Textured, performance look
